Krispy Kreme Burger

Here at White Trash Recipes we’re serious about our cuisine. Delving deep into the culture of our existence in the South, we often experiment with the finest ingredients available at the local Piggly Wiggly and various fine food establishments, such as Krispy Kreme donuts. Krispy Kreme has been around a long time, and was a well known favorite snack of our King, Elvis Presley. Now a nation-wide franchise, we are privileged to have a location up the road.

Krispy Kreme should be in it’s own food group. As it is, the endless things you can do with a donut is what keeps our stomach happy and full. Now Krispy Kreme Recipes 101, we begin with the Krispy Kreme Burger. The only limits are your imagination!

Krispy Kreme Burger

Krispy Kreme Burger with Bacon = White Trash Gourmet

We decided that our Krispy Kreme Burger needed bacon. If in a bind, and all out of bacon, use a liberal amount of bacon salt. White trash chef’s magic ingredient!

This Krispy Kreme Burger was sliced in half, and grilled open side down to create a “krispy” side. The bacon was crunchy, salt, and delicious. Cheese, mayonnaise, and any other burger toppings you like can be added to create your white trash masterpiece. This batch of burgers was delicious, with each bit like a party in your mouth. Tomato Beef Hot Drink

Great drink before dinner on a cold winter evening standing around a fire waiting to eat!

1 46oz can tomato juice
3 can’s Campbell’s beef broth
1 soup-can red wine
1 TBl. brown sugar
1 TBL. worchestershire sauce
1 tsp. horseradish

Heat all ingredients to boiling. Serve in mugs.

12 servings.

Spicy and delicious! This will make you more hungry, like an appetizer.

Cheeseburger Baked Macaroni & Cheese

The staple and cornerstone of a white trash diet, macaroni and cheese can be prepared several different ways and is quite the versatile meal. You can change up the type of cheese, and even add other ingredients such as ground beef to make “cheeseburger mac.”

However our favorite way to do macaroni and cheese is baked. Baked macaroni and cheese made just right is the best! Here is our favorite recipe. Make this for your next party, or any day of the week. Serve it up with some fried chicken and biscuits!

Baked Macaroni and Cheese


1 package (8 oz) macaroni pasta
2 cups cream (add more if you like)
3/4 pounds grated American cheese
1/2 block Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
1 stick of butter


Boil macaroni according to package directions, adding a little salt to the water. Drain pasta. In an oven safe casserole dish, combine the macaroni butter and salt. Add grated the cheddar cheese and mix well. Top with American cheese. Pour the cream over everything, and bake at 350 degrees for about 30-40 minutes or until the macaroni has absorbed all the liquid and the cheese is melted. Serve warm with your favorite white trash dishes for a perfect white trash meal.

Really simple recipe. Boil and cook your favorite pasta, drain. Add butter to taste, and you are ready to go.

And of course, you can add your favorite seasoning before eating. As you can see in this picture, I used some black pepper. :)
